Black Diamond Tree Service attends TCI Expo
December 2011
TCI EXPO, the world's largest tree care industry trade show and conference was held in Hartford, CT November 2nd through 5th. It combined education, endless networking opportunities with top industry leaders, and vendors demonstrating the latest in state of the art equipment necessary for a successful tree care business. In spite of the early snowfall that hit the northeast on October 29th, 2,469 people registered for the event and 1,937 fought their way through power outages and downed limbs to attend. There were 177 exhibitors, including some of the largest names in the tree care industry.
Bill and Denise traveled to Hartford on Wednesday, November 2nd to spend four days at the conference while the rest of crew, Jake, Josh, and Jason, along with our office manager, Diane, arrived at the show on Friday for a busy but fun day. Everyone had an opportunity to talk with the vendors, attend a variety of educational classes relating to safety, technical skills and business management. The day was topped off with a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.
We all left energized with new knowledge and ideas that will help us to improve our business to better serve our clients.
