Here's Bill in action, many feet from the ground. During this removal, Bill takes branches off on his way up.
Chipping Christmas trees for the community at no charge after the Holidays is a Black Diamond tradition.
The Black Diamond team recently completed all four levels of "The Game of Logging" -- excellent safety training.
Our "Arborist" scarecrow won an award in the Mount Snow Valley Chamber of Commerce 2008 scarecrow contest. (Can you tell which one's the scarecrow?)
Here's Hannah, our former administrative assistant, dear friend and scarecrow creator, with Bill and Denise's sons Brendan (behind) and Ethan, with our award winning "Arborist" scarecrow.
Bill and Denise take a little time to pose with this interesting fellow in Baltimore after a tree care conference they attended recently.
Our newest chipper....the "TX" is a remote controlled, track machine that helps us create beautiful trails around our clients' property.
Recycling: We remove and chip dead/dying trees, then use the wood chips to create beautiful woodland trails and walking paths.
Black Diamond Tree Service and Mountain View Crane Service donated their time and equipment to remove the dead Elm trees from a difficult location in the center of Wilmington. Sections of these trees were then used to create the pergola in the new community park at that location.
